We recently had the honour of transforming our client’s residence in the lovely Holland Road neighbourhood into a serene family home, yet full of character. The design concept takes cues from natural flow—anchored in soft, arching forms, thoughtful storage, and gentle pops of colour balanced with natural wood. Every space was envisioned not just for beauty, but for the evolving rhythm of everyday life.

Living Room

A large arched window welcomes in generous natural light, framing the room with elegance. A plush, comfortable sofa invites slow living, while a bespoke bookshelf cabinet discreetly conceals a pull-out table—transforming the space into a part-time home office when needed. When the workday is done, the table tucks seamlessly flush with the cabinet, and a fold-down door closes over the compartment, neatly concealing the computer and keeping visual clutter out of sight.

Dry Kitchen & Dining Area

Sage green cabinetry defines the dry kitchen, grounding the space in calm sophistication. The gentle arch reappears here, thoughtfully echoed in the cabinet design to soften the visual height of the 2.8-metre ceiling. A movable islandwith a pull-out dining table brings flexibility to daily living—easily adapting from quiet mornings to lively gatherings. The space is anchored by a marble-look sintered stone tabletop with subtle gold veining, balancing refined aesthetics with lasting durability, while modern gold pendant lights complete the composition with understated elegance.

The wet kitchen contrasts subtly with its warmer palette. Wooden cabinetry brings texture and depth, while a sturdy quartz surface offers a layer of durability to support the chaos of daily cooking.

Master Bedroom

A soft powder blue palette envelops the master bedroom, creating a serene retreat of calm and comfort. The sculptural arched bedhead—drawing inspiration from classic Italian shutters—anchors the room as both a statement piece and a clever storage feature, discreetly concealing daily necessities within. Beneath the shutter panels, a cushioned backing adds softness and support, striking a balance between form and function—sculptural presence without sacrificing comfort.

By the window, a pull-out table transforms what was once an awkwardly high bay window into one of the most functional corners in the room. The reimagined nook now serves as a quiet space for work or morning rituals, with the adjacent wardrobe thoughtfully designed to house essentials such as a hairdryer and makeup. When not in use, the table tucks seamlessly flush with the cabinetry, preserving a clean, uninterrupted flow.

Storage is maximized with a built-in platform bed that conceals drawers and trap doors beneath—ideal for keeping bulkier items like luggage neatly out of sight, ensuring the room remains effortlessly composed while making full use of every corner.

A vibrant blend of rich blue and emerald green brings energy to the children’s bedroom. The custom bed platform offers both sleep and storage, maximising space while allowing room for play and imagination.

Master & Common Bathrooms

In both bathrooms, cream stone tiles lay a grounding canvas that exudes warmth and quiet luxury. Rose-gold fittings lend a touch of refinement, complementing the soft tones with subtle elegance. The layouts of both spaces were thoughtfully reconfigured—not only to improve practicality but also to enhance visual spaciousness, replacing the previously awkward arrangements with a more intuitive flow.

The master bathroom is elevated with light blue quartzite inspired accent tiles that introduce a tranquil, spa-like quality, while the common bathroom embraces a deep emerald green marble inspired tiles in the shower area, offering contrast yet maintaining a cohesive design language throughout the home.
